Dolly ki Doli is scheduled to release on 23rd of January 2015 and only two of its official videos have released by far which is making everyone wonder what Arbaaz's actual plans are for promoting his film starring Sonam Kapoor in the lead role.
The focus of the 2 released videos one being that of the 'official theatrical trailer' and other one of the song 'Phatte tak Nachna' seem to be on Sonam Kapoor mostly which very well establishes that this is going to be a women-centric film, where Sonam is in a negative role of that of a con-artist who robs the family of the guy she marries the very same night of marriage i.e. on their Suhagraat.
The look of Sonam aka Dolly in Dolly Ki Doli Film, both of these videos is not very glamorous and she can be seen wearing simple traditional Indian dresses in both videos. She is looking fairly good in the designer Lehenga she is wearing in the official song video of 'Phatte tak Nachna' and is looking whistle-worthy.
The song is average and so is the video, also 'police bulana' is pretty old now and something else could have been used instead. The lyrics are ok but they don't impress too much, and we have similar feelings about the music which is produced by the great duo of Sajid-Wajid, but, yes we cannot judge a book by its cover and a movie by only one song video.
Now all of us are eagerly waiting for the video of the item song 'Fashion Khatam Mujh pe' starring none other than Malaika Arora Khan, wife of Arbaaz Khan, the producer of this light-comedy/drama movie. The song is sung by Mamta Sharma and Wajid Khan and will be soon out.
Theatrical trailer video has undoubtedly intrigued us all. Let's hope for the best.
