Varun Sharma the Dilli wala guy is none other than our very own Fukra from the movie 'Fukrey'. Varun is not very old in Bollywood and has just started with his career.
Varun started his career in 2013 with the movie Fukrey which gave him a kick start and now he is working with one of the biggies of Bollywood i.e. Arbaaz Khan.
Varun had not only worked in Hindi films but Punjabi also. His films like 'Yaara da Katchup' which was a Punjabi action/comedy film and 'Rabba Main kya Karoon' which is a romantic comedy. For 2015 he has two movies lined up for release - 'Dolly ki Doli' and 'Kis Kisko Pyar Karu' and he is playing the male lead part in both of these movies.
His Bollywood debut movie "Fukrey' did good on box office and also proved great for him as he won 2 awards for this movie - the Star Guild Award for the Best Performance in a Comic Role and Zee Cine Award for the Best Actor in a Comic Role.
The cute and chubby and fukra says in an interview that he is a very shy personality and does not feel comfortable with girls around and is single at the moment, although he studied in a co-ed school.
Dolly ki Doli co-star Pulkit Samrat was also his co-star in Fukrey and is said to have bagged Dolly ki Doli for him because of his good bonding with Salman Khan.
Varun says that his role in this movie is very different from his last movie although he falls victim and gets conned by a girl in both the movies. He says that his character in Dolly ki Doli is a happy go lucky type of man who is educated and does a regular job, is fun loving and will definitely make you laugh.
He was born in Jalandhar and did his schooling from there and later went on to complete his degree of Media, Entertainment and Film Technology from Chandigarh.
